Hi there! I'm Peter Shaw, a Registered Architect based in ÅŒmokoroa in the beautiful Bay of Plenty. With substantial experience in both residential and commercial architecture, and a background in carpentry and project management, I can help you with the following:
Design
People sometimes think architects only work on new builds, but that's not the case at all!
I can work with you to design anything from an extension to your existing house, to a fit-out for your business, to a new outdoor living space, to a new bathroom.
My approach to architecture is client-centred and pragmatic, and my focus is on delivering the best possible design
to meet your needs and budget.
Consent documentation
If you need a Council consent, you probably need an architect. With my 30+ years of experience in the building industry, I can help you to meet the requirements of whichever Council your property is located in. I also have relationships with construction specialists such as engineers, planners, and surveyors, whose input is often needed for
consents these days.
Project management
I can look after your project from initial conversation to final signoff and handover. I know how to communicate with contractors and territorial authorities, and I can take the stress of trying to answer their tricky questions off your hands. I can also help you with the inevitable decisions that need to be made along the way.
