Maungatapu interior redesign
"From the start, Pete’s focus was on making beautiful spaces that fitted with the way we live. He listened intently to my ideas – and improved on every one of them. And then he pulled all the various details together into a clean, elegant, and timeless aesthetic.
Drawing on his earlier career as a builder, Pete helped us find alternatives to highly engineered (and therefore costly) features. That insight was invaluable, and no doubt saved us a lot of money. He found a deft solution to our storage conundrum, found clever ways to adjust the scale of a room that was too cavernous, helped ensure the liquor cabinet came to life as a chic and stylish feature - and even went to a fabric shop to find a sample for the cabinet lining.
I think the overall impact of choosing to work with Pete was that we ended up with a home that was beautiful, functional, and a joy for our family to live in. We absolutely loved the end result, and it all started with choosing the right architect."

Pauatahanui renovation
Our house, which began life as a 1950s bach, needed a full reclad and new joinery. Pete designed and delivered a home of contemporary grandness. It now looks like a brand new home – with cedar weatherboards and Euroline cladding. We retained the original 1950s floorboards and complemented these with internal cedar features such as the internal staircase and dining room ceilings.
We appreciated Pete’s professional approach, and his ability to think outside the square and take an innovative approach to the redesign of our home. This is just what we needed to feel reassured that we had made the right choice – and we were so very happy with the result.
